When you make the decision to buy a metal bunk bed, you have to consider the room that the bed is going to go into. Ask yourself questions like

- Will the metal bunk bed match the colour of the carpet and the wall

- Will I have to redesign the room and spend additional money on fabrics, paint, carpets etc

- Should I be choosing a metal futon bed or a pine bunk bed and which one is most likely going to last the longest.

- Should I get an interior designer in to help me out in the room redesign now that I have the futon bunk bed or can I do it myself.

- What type of mattress do I need to get with the bed. Can I use an existing mattress I already have or should I go out and buy a new one.

- What will I do with the existing bed that is in the room, can I give it to another one of my children or should I ask any of my friends if they would like it. Or should I just dispose of it in a skip.

These are all questions that very parent should ask before they purchase any bed. There are always additional unseen costs that you would probably never have thought oof before.
